Situated a 5-minute walk to the sandy beach, Shanklin town centre is a 3-minute walk from the B&B and Ryde’s harbour is 8 and half miles away. The ferry service to Southampton stops at Cowes, 13 miles from the property. Shanklin & Sandown Golf Club is just 8 minutes’ drive away.

  • The bed was lovely to sleep on, the staff were very friendly. We loved the quirky-ness of the hotel itself, and the location. Breakfast was lovely, just what was needed. We wasn’t sure of where to go on the island so was given lots of help about good places to go etc. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

  • We really enjoyed our stay at the palmerston .It was very welcoming and the owners Nick and Haley couldn’t do enough to make our stay perfect .The bar area was very stylish and quirky. We are looking forward to the summer as we are intending to stay there again .Hopefully for longer and with some of our family
